These were the two plates I cut for relief printing and intaglio. They are each cut from a bit of mount board, in order to achieve the different gradients of colour I am required to peel away at different layers of paper in doing so giving the piece depth and texture. Both are then varnished and ready for printing. I have particularly enjoyed this form of printing.
